The Love Edit

Finding peace, connection, and yourself through travel

February always brings the same question to the surface. What do you love, and when was the last time you made space for it? This month is often framed around romance, but love shows up in far more ways than that. It lives in connection. With yourself. With a place. With the people you choose to spend meaningful time with.

For me, love shows up most clearly through travel. Not in a loud or performative way, and not for the sake of checking boxes or chasing moments that look good online. Travel gives me room to breathe. It allows my shoulders to relax, my mind to slow down, and my body to finally catch up with itself. It is where I find peace.

There is something deeply grounding about being somewhere new. Breathing air that feels different. Experiencing a rhythm that is not tied to your usual routines. Travel creates a pause. It invites you to be present in a way that everyday life rarely allows, and that presence feels rejuvenating and refreshing every single time.

Sometimes love in travel looks like choosing yourself. Traveling solo. Trusting your instincts. Moving through a destination at your own pace without needing to explain your choices or compromise your comfort. There is a quiet confidence that comes from navigating the world on your own terms.

Other times, love shows up in the form of a destination that stays with you long after you leave. A place that feels familiar even on the first day. Where the energy feels right, the pace feels natural, and you find yourself breathing deeper without even realizing it.

And sometimes love is shared. Travel has a way of reconnecting you with your partner, stripping away distractions and creating space for real conversations. It brings friends closer, turning shared meals and unplanned moments into memories that matter. It gives families time to slow down and simply be together, without the usual noise pulling everyone in different directions.

No matter how it shows up, love in travel always leads to the same place. Peace. A sense of clarity. A reminder that life does not need to feel rushed or overwhelming to be full.

That is what The Love Edit is about this month. Not just romance, and not just destinations, but the feeling you carry with you when travel is done right. Rested. Grounded. At ease. And a little more connected to yourself and the people who matter most.

Travel has always been where I find my love, my calm, and my clarity. And that, for me, is the point.

Xoxo,

Kimberly
