Oh my! That pretty much sums it up right there. It has been two years since I made up my mind to take this journey. Despite our world being turned upside down, it has gone extremely well. I set out to take people to new places and to experience new things. That is happening and I couldn’t feel better about it.
Right now, my client is sailing out of Greece for an 8-day cruise. It is her very first international trip, not to mention it is a solo trip. I won’t go into her story here, I’ll let her do that, but I will tell you that I shed a few tears.
I’m sure these next few days will be life-changing for her. Just as my first international trip was life-changing for me. Ironically, my first international was solo as well. There is a freedom in it that I have felt nowhere else.
I don’t want to call it a goal because that word sounds so transactional to me. My dream is to help other people see the majesty of God’s grace and this beautiful world that he has allowed us to inhabit. How and why would you spend the little time that you have in just one place.
So, now that I have shared my little second anniversary of following through on an idea, I hope that you will go on a journey too.
