What is a Curated Departure?
A Curated Departure is a solo travel experience built around a shared destination, not a shared itinerary.
You'll travel independently, stay at the same hotel as other travelers on the departure, enjoy a couple of included shared experiences, and spend the rest of your time exactly how you want.
Think of it as solo travel with a little built-in familiarity.
Is this a group trip?
Not in the traditional sense.
There are no matching shirts, no tour guide holding a flag, no waiting for twenty people to finish breakfast, and no feeling obligated to spend every moment together.
You're free to join in when you want and do your own thing whenever you don't.
Will you be traveling with us?
No.
These are not hosted trips. Everything is professionally planned before you leave, and you'll have all of your travel documents, transfers, hotel details, and included experiences organized before departure.
Will I be traveling alone?
You'll be traveling on your own, but you won't be the only traveler on the departure.
Everyone booked on that Curated Departure will be staying at the same property during the same dates. Whether you spend time together is completely up to you.
Do I have to participate in group activities?
No.
The shared experiences are included as part of your Curated Departure, but participation is completely optional.
If you'd rather spend that time relaxing by the pool, exploring on your own, or doing something else entirely, that's perfectly fine.
Because these experiences are included in the package price, there is no refund or price reduction if you choose not to participate.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes.
While Curated Departures are designed for solo travelers, you're welcome to bring one person you already know if you'd rather share the experience.
Will I have a roommate?
No.
Each traveler books their own room unless you're traveling with someone you've chosen to share with.
We do not match roommates.

Do I have to book the optional activities?

They're simply options if something interests you.
There is never any pressure to participate.
Can I arrive early or stay longer?
Absolutely.
If you'd like to extend your trip before or after the Curated Departure, we can arrange that for you.
How many people are on each departure?
Space is intentionally limited.
Most departures are capped at around 10 travelers to keep the experience relaxed and personal.
How do I reserve my spot?
Once a departure is announced, you'll complete the booking process and pay the required deposit.
Because space is limited, reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is travel insurance included?
Travel protection is not included in the package price, but it will be quoted during the booking process and is strongly recommended.
